Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Lorenzo Camplese (Formula K / Parilla) started flawlessly to the lights of Prefinal A ahead of Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) and Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter). Jorrit and Stan Pex (Intrepid / TM) were quickly back in 5th and 6th but Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) quickly started to threaten them. There was a very good race start for Jérémy Iglesias (Alpha / TM) in 8th with a gain of seven places. Camponeschi attacked Fore on lap 12 to capture 4th place, while Ardigo, the fastest, escaped to victory, ahead of Camplese. Camponeschi tried to pass Pescador at the hairpin on the last lap, but lost ground by touching the Praga driver. Jorrit Pex and Fore benefited in 4th and 5th. Iglesisas retired and did not qualify.
Prefinal B was an exciting race led initially by Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla). Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) took control, then Rick Dreezen (Zanardi / Parilla). Meanwhile, Arnaud Kozlinski (Sodi / TM) was going all out to move up. Abbasse took the lead, Dreezen lost ground, and Hajek returned to 2nd. Kozlinski still attacked and took 3rd in the wheels of Hajek at the finish line, while Abbasse won the race. Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelART / Parilla) moved up to 4th position in front of Dreezen who retained his fifth place by a thousandth against Simo Puhakka (CRG / Maxter) who beat his teammate Paolo De Conto (CRG / Maxter). Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla) finished 9th and Nicolas Gonzales (Alpha / TM) 11th after taking four positions.
