There were four races each on Saturday and two on Sunday morning before we will know the intermediate classification of KF-Junior  at Adria. Here’s an update on the situation on Saturday night.

In the heat A against B, Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex) passed Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart / LKE) with two laps to go, Artem Petrov (DR / TM) finished third in front of the fast Bard Verkroost (CRG / TM) and Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 5th. Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished 10th, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) was shoved and slipped back to 21st in front of Timothy Peisselon (BirelART / Parilla).

The heat D against E was costly for several favourites. Firstly Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) dropped to the back of the pack from the start, and Teddy Wilson (Zanardi / Parilla) was sinking too, Presley Martono (Tony Kart / Vortex) gave up after a fight that became too intense, and Rasmus Lindh (Ricciardo / Parilla) lost 19 places. Davide Lombardo (Exprit / Vortex) finished ahead of Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Muizzidin Bin Abdul Gafar (CRG / Vortex).

The top four of the heat A against C finished in the order that they started but not because there was no fight in the race. But the very fast Colombo won ahead of Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) and Petrov, all three very close on the clock. Kenny Roosens (Kosmic / Parilla) had to fight hard to the end to finish fourth, while Milesi ensured a beautiful 6th place ahead of Noah Watt (FA Kart / Vortex) and Milan Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla) who took 14th place.

Behind the victorious Drugovich who was alone in the last race on Saturday, B against E, run at the end of the day with floodlights lit over the track. Maini overtook Martono for 2nd place. The fighting was also tight for fourth position between Marta Garcia (Tony Kart/TM) who gained places well, and Lundgaard. The fastest lap went to Ye Yifei (Exprit / Vortex) in 8th. Simmenauer finished the day with a 16th place and Peisselon a 20th.

With his two wins, Drugovich is in the lead of the provisional ranking of the category ahead of Colombo and Sargeant. The unofficial Kartcom ranking is available to follow here.
