A trio quickly escaped at the front of the KF-Junior Prefinal B at La Conca: Sebastian Fernandez Wahbeh (Exprit / Vortex), Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart / LKE) and Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex). Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) led the chasing pack ahead of Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex). Colombo, who had taken control, dropped to 5th before halfway. Behind Fernandez was the war between a group of four rampaging drivers: Drugovich, Simmenauer, Colombo and Maini. Presley Martono (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 6th, and Eliseo Martinez (Praga / Parilla) 7th.

The red flag was waved on lap 9 after an accident involving Kenny Roosens. The Belgian driver went off at high speed on a trace of moisture dropped by a competitor at the 2nd right turn and hit the barriers hard. He then tried to get up, but in vain. Evacuated on a stretcher, he made a little sign to the spectators, wincing in pain. The Spaniard Sami Worship (FA Kart / Vortex) wouldn’t go any further because his rear bumper was ripped off.

The race resumed under slow procedure with 8 laps to go. Fernandez led from Drugovich, Maini, Simmenauer and Colombo. We followed the journey of the young French driver Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla), for now in 15th position. The green flag was waved after the 10th lap. Drugovich attacked Fernandez immediately who did everything he could to regain the lead. Simmenauer passed Maini for 3rd place on the next lap. Fernandez took the lead, and tempers flared in two laps remaining. Fernandez was pushed, and Drugovich won the race, with Simmenauer 2nd, and Maini 3rd. The fastest lap went to Nikita Volegov (Tony Kart / Parilla), in 7th. Petelet qualified for the first time in 15th.
