Nielsen wins the Prefinal in KF

The tone was immediately set by Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) who stuck to Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) on the first lap of the Prefinal in KF and was on the attack from the start of the second lap. Then Lorandi Leonardo (Tony Kart / Vortex) passed Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) for the 3rd position and Lorenzo Travisanutto (PCR / TM) captured 4th place. Starting with the bit between his teeth, Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG / TM) had already taken seven places to 5th position, while Fewtrell continued to drop back and eventually retired.

After half of the 16 laps of the race, Nielsen was nearly a second ahead of Basz, and Travisanutto had taken 3rd ahead of Lorandi. Juan Correa (Energy / TM) moved up to sixth ahead of Casper Andersen Roes (FA Kart / Vortex) who had taken over seven places, and Egor Stupenkov (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 8th. Lorandi and Travisanutto then started losing ground, and Van Leeuwen was 3rd, with Andersen and Correa 4th and 5th. It was tight for 3rd place between Van Leeuwen, Andersen and Correa, while another battle was taking place for 6th place which Stupenkov took, followed by Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex) and Juri Vips (FA Kart / Vortex).

Nielsen logically won against Basz, Correa crossed the line in 3rd position close to 9 ” later after attacking Van Leeuwen a little violently on the last lap. Andersen was 4th, Verschoor 5th, Vips 6th, Travisanutto 7th, Lorandi 8th, Vartanyan 9th with the fastest time and Stupenkov 10th.
