Basz wins again ahead of Lorandi in the 3rd KF heat

Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) retained control of the 3rd qualifying heat in KF from the start, while the La Conca track was still very wet. Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) remained stable in the 2nd and 3rd positions. With his spoiler down from a first lap crash at the hairpin, Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG / TM) had to return to the pits. There was a big rise for Casper Andersen Roes (FA Kart / Vortex) in the top 10. Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) got the measure of Juri Vips (FA Kart / Vortex) for 4th place, especially as the Estonian driver had a dropped spoiler, which should earn him a 30” penalty upon arrival. François Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla) made a stunning recovery to 11th.

Lorandi increased the pace for 3 laps and closed up to Basz, but the Pole had the resources necessary and stayed significantly ahead of the Italian, however he set the fastest time. Nielsen finished 3rd in front of Fewtrell. Egor Stupenkov (Tony Kart / Vortex) passed Vips for 5th place.
