It was pouring rain when the 24 KF drivers went out for their second qualifying heat. Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) immediately took the advantage from Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) and seized control of the race from the third lap. The battle raged between Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) and Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) for 3rd place. While he was back with the leader, Nielsen dropped to 5th at halfway, and Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex) took fourth position. Held up early in the race, Egor Stupenkov (Tony Kart / Vortex) was going like hell. There was also an impressive recovery for Juri Vips (FA Kart / Vortex). Basz was increasingly pressing Lorandi and braking late to attack at the hairpin on lap 11. Nielsen attempted an inside line take Verschoor on the last lap, causing a spray of water from the edge of the track over the young Dutchman, who fortunately remained in 5th position ahead of Vips. Victory went to Basz ahead of Lorandi, Fewtrell was 3rd and Nielsen 4th. Stupenkov rebounded to 13th with the fastest time, after dropping to last on the first lap. François Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla), although he started well, had to retire because of his spoiler.
