Babington unbeatable in DD2 qualifying

Kanscar Ferenc (Hungary) and Xen De Ruwe (Belgium) led the way in the first DD2 session ahead of Ferdinand Habsburg (Austria) and Edward Brand (United Kingdom). Jeffrey Kingsley (Canada) then took 3rd position, while Kanscar improved his time at the front. Rasmus Markkanen (Finland) then set the second fastest time. Jules Bollier (France) was near the top 10, and Maxime Gravouille (France) was 18th. Kanscar ended up in front with 55”270, 35 thousandths ahead of Markkanen.

Sean Babington (United Kingdom) impressed in the second DD2 qualifying session with an incredible time of 55”190 ahead of Javier Rodelas (Spain), Adam Glear (United Kingdom), Bradley Liebenberg (South Africa) and Ben Cooper (Canada ). Alexandre Anstett (France) was 7th.

Babington was of course credited with the pole position ahead of Kanscar, Rodelas, Markkanen and Glear in the top 5.
