KZ2 Sarno: Van Der Burgt wins prefinal 2

It was a woeful start from Fabian Federer (CRG / Maxter) in prefinal 2 of the KZ2 International Super Cup, Lorenzo Camplese (Maranello / TM) took the early lead ahead of Tilloca Luca (Intrepid / Modena), Jan Midrla (Birel / TM ) and Ryan Van der Burgt (DR / TM). The latter attacked first then Midrla passed Tilloca to grab second position on the 5th lap. Giacomo Pollini (CKR / TM) took the opportunity to go third. Midrla was now fifth with Federer rapidly closing behind him.

Van der Burgt was slightly closer to Camplese at halfway and set the fastest lap. He attacked the leader on lap 8 but Camplese, braking late, managed to retain the advantage for a few moments. Van der Burgt took the the head of the race though and finished in front of Camplese as the winner, with Pollini 3rd, Tilloca 4th, Midrla 5th and Federer 6th. Xen De Ruwe (Intrepid / TM) didn’t finish the race, nor did the French drivers Charly Bizalion (Alpha / TM) and Antoine Bottiroli (GP / TM).
