Rick Dreezen (Zanardi / Parilla) won the second and final heat of the KZ European Championship at Genk after beating Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), Paolo De Conto (Birel / TM ) and Arnaud Kozlinski (Intrepid / TM). The French driver was still on top, but De Conto took control from the 2nd lap. Dreezen moved up rapidly in the group thanks to an excellent start from 9th place and attacked the leaders in 3 laps. Camponeschi took second in front of De Conto and Kozlinski finally finished 4th. The race was generally uneventful, except the retirement of Jérémy Iglesias on the 1st lap. Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla) was unable to maintain his position in the leading group and was 7th, while Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM), in 5th contained Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex). In 11th at the beginning of the last lap, Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla) crossed the finish line freewheeling with 13 places lost due to a transmission failure in an incident which unfortunately eliminated Mirko Torsellini (ART GP / TM).

In the intermediate classification, Kozlinski remains the leader on equal points with Dreezen, Ardigo was 3rd, Thonon 4th, Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG / Maxter) 5th, Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) 6th, Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) 7th, Abbasse 8th, Yannick De Brabander (CRG / TM) 9th and De Conto 10th. Iglesias is ranked 19th, Thomas Laurent (Tony Kart / Vortex) 23rd and Maxime Roy (Tony Kart / Vortex) 26th.
