The DD2 prefinal goes to De Conto

The hierarchy didn’t change much in in DD2 at Castelletto, as Paolo De Conto (Birel – KMS Motorsport Birel) won the prefinal with a comfortable 1.3” lead over Sean Babington (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) and Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG – CRG) much further back. Ben Cooper (Birel – KMS Birel Motorsport) beat Andreas Backman (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) to fourth position, while Anthony Abbasse (Sodi – Sodikart) remade much of his disadvantage in sixth position. Qualified through the Repechage, Martin Pierce (Praga – Praga Kart Racing) finished first of the Masters after dropping Cristiano Morgado (FA Kart – Dan Holland Racing).
