David Beckmann (Tony Kart / Parilla) set the fastest time of the first qualifying session in KF-Junior at Zuera, with 1’02” 580 ahead of Daniel Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla) and Mick Junior (Tony Kart / Vortex) who took third on the last lap against Christian Lungaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Gleb Zotov (Tony Kart / Vortex), long the leader in the early laps.
Devlin DeFrancesco (Tony Kart / Vortex) dominated the start of the second session, but Anton Haaga (Kosmic / LKE) improved the score by a thousandth of a second two minutes from time. DeFrancesco returned to the attack in his penultimate lap and set the fastest lap of 1’02” 454. Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex) came in 3rd, James Pull (Tony Kart / Vortex) 4th, Artem Petrov (DR / TM) 5th ahead of Ulysses De Pauw (Kosmic / Parilla).
Benjamin Lessennes (Kosmic / Parilla) climbed to the top of the third session with 1’02” 824 ahead of Kami Moreira-Laliberte (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Sebastian Fernandez Wahbeh (Exprit / Vortex). Marta Garcia Lopez (Zanardi / was is interposed in second position, Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart / TM) 4th and Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) 5th.
Overall, the pole went to DeFrancesco, Haaga remained second, Beckmann third ahead of Vartanyan and Pull. Petrov finished 6th, De Pauw 7th, Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / TM) 8th, Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) 9th and Ticktum 10th. Lessennes only came in 15th position, Fewtrell 21st and Enaam Ahmed (FA Kart / Vortex) 22nd. Giuliano Alesi (Tony Kart / TM), the leading French driver, ranked 33rd, Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / TM) 39th, Tom Leuillet (Birel / TM) 40th and Alessandro Brozzoni (Zanardi / Parilla) (Energy / TM) 54th.
