Last round of the 2014 WSK Super Master Series at La Conca

Two weeks before the CIK-FIA European KF & KF Junior Chanpionship, the La Conca International Circuit is host this weekend to the final round of the WSK Super Master Series. As well as the decider for the WSK titles, the event at Muro Lecesse will be a valuable preparatory test for the European competition.

In KZ2, we expect a showdown between Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla) who are separated by only 10 points in the standings, with Arnaud Kozlinski (Intrepid / TM) possibly producing a surprise as the underdog.

Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) has a slight advantage of 12 points over Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex) in the KF standings, and Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) is aiming to ambush Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla).

In KF-Junior, three drivers are competing at the top of the interim standings: Mauricio Baiz (LH / TM), who has recently changed team, Daniel Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla) and Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / TM).

Free practice begins on Thursday, April 24th, with 5 sessions of 15′ and 10′ from 8:20 a.m. to 6:40 p.m. (apart from 60 Mini). They will continue on Friday from 8:20 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. with 2 x 15 ‘and 1 x 10’, a total of 2 hours and 5 minutes for each driver (except 60 Mini).

Qualifying for KFJ, KF and KZ2 will be held on Friday from 3:30 p.m. ET to 4:55 p.m. ET will be followed by the last free practice sessions for 60 Mini and the first two heats for KF and KFJ.

8:10 to 9:50: warm-up

10:10 to 10:35: 60 Mini timed qualifying

10:40 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.: heats

Sunday, April 27

8:25 to 10:05: warm-up

10:10 to 10:45: final heats for KFJ

10:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: prefinals A and B for all categories

1445: 60 Mini Final

15h15: KF Final

15h45: KFJ Final

16:15 KZ2 Final
