Always at the front, Kozlinski (Intrepid / TM) won again taking his position as leader in KZ2 after the heats of the WSK Super Master Series at Castelletto. Although Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla) proved more effective, a clash with Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) in the final heat earned him a penalty that gave him 8th. Ardigo managed to finish fifth despite this and is in second place in the intermediate standings ahead of Rick Dreezen (Zanardi / Parilla), Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 4th, Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla) 5th and Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla) 6th.
Without an engine failure, Paolo De Conto (Birel / TM) could have been in the top three instead of 14th position. Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) lost a lot at the start in the last heat when a rival struggled to get going. Davide Fore (CRG / TM) moved up from 16th in qualifying to 11th place, just ahead of Douglas Lundberg (Alpha / TM), who was recovering from 20th in qualifying.
