WSK Champions Cup: Thonon takes the lead in the KZ2 heats

The third and final qualifying heat in KZ2 was run on Sunday morning under the sun, and was a victory for Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla) who quickly took advantage of Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex). Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla) was able to return to third position ahead of Jérémy Iglesias (Lenzo / LKE) who was very effective. There was a good performance in 5th position for Douglas Lundberg (Alpha / TM) who managed to contain Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM). Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) crashed with Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) early in the race, the Italian had to return to the pits. Davide Fore (CRG / TM) also retired.
Thonon moved ahead of Ardigo and Hajek in the intermediate classification, Iglesias took 4th place, Pex 5th, Negro 6th ahead of Camponeschi and Hanley. Lundberg was back in ninth position ahead of Cesetti.
