In France, a proverb reminds us that “the morning rain did not stop the pilgrim”, which seems perfectly suited to the weather of the 19th Winter Cup. The night rain stopped on Saturday morning, leaving the tarmac still wet for warm-up. The times will go down and it is expected that the track will dry in the morning, even if the first heats of the day require the use of wet tyres. Rain or not, the question remains open, however, as the forecasts vary from one source to another.
