Review of drivers in the WSK Final Cup of Castelletto

Six French drivers are entered in the last WSK event of the season, the Final Cup. Alexandre Arrue (Praga / Parilla) is in for a major confrontation with his teammates Jonathan Thonon and Patrik Hajek in KZ2, there is Louis Bonsaudo (PCR / Parilla) in KZ2 and in KF2 Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) and Julien Darras (Tony Kart / TM) who has been crowned Italian champion on this track, 7 Laghi, and finally in KF3, Giuliano Alesi (Tony Kart / Parilla) who is faster at Baby Race, and finally Bryan Elpitiya (Energy / TM), the best French hope at this level.

Jonathan Thonon is in his first race in blue at Praga where he is now an official driver with a Parilla engine. Mirko Torsellini and Martin Doubek will race under the ART GP banner, while Ricardo Romkema is driving an Energy / TM. Davide Fore (CRG / TM) is still highly rated with the Polish team DTK Racing where he is watching the progress of his protege Bartosz Idzkowski (CRG / TM).

There will be a high level in KF2 with Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex), Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM), Egor Stupenkov (Energy / TM), Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla), Kevin Rossel (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Julien Darras (Tony Kart / TM). Watch out for the return of Stefano Cucco (Intrepid / TM).

In KF3, is risky to predict with 71 competitors entered. Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart / Vortex) will be a favorite with Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) and the crew at RFM, Daniel Ticktum, Jehan Daruvala, Enaam Ahmed and Max Fewtrell, joined this time by Logan Sargeant and Matvey Maslov. Let’s add Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Parilla), David Beckmann (Zanardi / Parilla), Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart / TM), Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB), and Benjamain Lessennes (Kosmic / Parilla) to the list and of course Bryan Elpitiya (Energy / TM) who hasn’t come to make up the numbers.
