There was a big fight on the first lap between Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Lance Stroll (Zanardi / TM) with more overtaking, but Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) passed for second. Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM), Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) and Julien Fong Wei Jie (Tony Kart / TM) were delayed in an incident at the bottom of the circuit. Ollie Norris had taken 4th place ahead of Egor Stupenkov (Energy / TM). Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) attacked Stupenkov, and was followed by Michal Grzyb (Birel / Parilla). Libor Toman (Birel / TM) had struggled from the start.

 

At halfway, Kodric went 3rd ahead of Stroll and Norris. Basz was isolated in the lead 5” ahead of Joyner. Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / TM) was in 8th, Boccolacci back to 11th. Kodric dislodged Joyner from 2nd place on lap five, Stupenkov overtook Norris for fifth position. On the penultimate lap, Stupenkov braked hard and passed Stroll and Joyner then suddenly Stroll touched with teammate Joyner who slipped and lost 3 places. Victory went to Basz, 3.8” from Kodric, the fastest of the race, ahead of the third Stupenkov, then Stroll, Norris and Grzyb. Joyner was 7th, Besancenez 8th and Boccolacci 9th. Nielsen was forced to return to the pits to repair his damaged bodywork in a very fast put stop.
