Ortona: Potty on pole in the Academy

The temperature was already high in mid-morning when the Academy drivers took to the track for their qualifying session. Already a leader in the standings in the Academy Trophy, the Belgian Maxime Potty confirmed his status with the fastest time, 59” 627, and Artem Petrov (Russia) followed in second position by 0.173” and the Estonian Ralf Aron ranked third by 0.342”, which are significant differences. Pedro Piquet (Brazil) finished fourth ahead of the fifth Indonesian Presley Martono, Julia Pankiewicz, one of the 2 Crazy Sisters from Poland, in sixth position, and then the French Gautier Becq after in a good effort in the last round to go from 16th to 7th position. Adeline Prudent was 10th and Nathan Hédouin 19th.
