In the first timed session in the KF European Championship at Ortona Callum Ilott (Zanardi / TM) set the fastest time, 56” 574, but Max Verstappen (CRG / TM) was close at 35 thousandths exactly behind. Pedro Hiltbrand (LH / TM) was in third position ahead of Karol Dabski (Praga / Parilla) and Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG / BMB). Valentin Moineault (ART GP / TM) finished 10th, Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / TM) 18th, not helped by a hand injury caused by his gloves which were a very fashionable brand.
Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) dominated the second session with 56” 358 ahead of Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) by 1 tenth and Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) by 2/10. Christian Sorensen (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished up fourth ahead of Andrea Russo (Kosmic / Vortex) and Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM). Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) was 10th ahead of Ben Barnicoat (ART GP / TM) and Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla). Nicolas Gonzales was 15th and Julien Darras (Tony Kart / TM) 19th.
The top three overall were from the 2nd session, Nielsen, Convers and Basz, followed by Ilott and Verstappen, Sorensen sixth ahead of Russo and Boccolacci.
