Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) started on pole for the KF final, but the first braking point at the end of the straight was a little heated and Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) took the lead before the first corner. Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) and other drivers lost time at the busy start of the race. Lance Stroll (Zanardi / Parilla) then returned quickly to the front and even managed to grab second place. The fight didn’t let up in this group, allowing Boccolacci to escape. Nielsen took over the second spot before involuntarily giving way to Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex), while Pedro Hiltbrand (LH / TM) moved up to third position. The lead Boccolacci had on his opponents exceeded 3.5” by halfway and continued to grow. Hiltbrand attacked Basz and took 2nd place on lap 11, the Pole replied with a lap to go, and Nielsen took third on the last lap. Hiltbrand was 4th, Stroll 5th. Boccolacci crossed the finish line more than 4” ahead of Basz and Nielsen who managed to recover third from Hiltbrand and Stroll.
