With Arnaud Kozlinski’s second place in Sunday’s KZ1 final and Dylan Davies’ two top 5s in KZ2, the last meeting of the 2012 WSK Euro Series saw some excellent performances on the part of the AVG Racing team, a few weeks before the important meeting of the Sarno World Cup. Regardless of weather conditions, PCR/TM chassis were ready to fight in the lead pack of the 125 gearbox class.

Without a withdrawal in the first qualifying heat on Saturday, Arnaud Kozlinski could have done a lot more, considering that he regained as many as 7 places in Final 1 before battling for victory in Final 2. Although he adopted extreme caution with tyres on the burning hot track of Zuera, Koko was one of the most combative drivers during the heats and concluded in the winner’s trail in Final 2. The French driver ended the WSK Euro Series with an excellent third place. Simo Puhakka was less lucky on Saturday but recovered on Sunday by entering the top 10.

Dylan Davies did an excellent job on Saturday and entered the top 5 in Final 1 after starting from 16th, then he maintained the same level of performance on Sunday to conclude with a 4th place in the last race, the same place he claimed in the championship classification. As for Roy Geerts, he got his best result on the first day, with a 7th place in Final 1, and narrowly missed the top 10 in the Championship.
