Collard pulls the chestnuts from the fire

Expected to be the most spectacular race of the meeting, pre-final two started with Paulius Paskevicius (Righetti) and Andrea Zemin (Righetti) on the front row in front of Randy Berglas (Mach 1) and Niclas Tiihonen (Energy). Henry Easthope (Sodi) tasted dry grass off the track on the first lap. The top 4 retained their position on the first lap. The favourites moved up cautiously. Matthew Graham (Zanardi) was 11th behind Hubert Petit (Sodi), Gregory Antonov (MS Kart) was 18th, Anthoine Hubert (Formula K) 19th, Charles Leclerc (ART GP) 22nd, Easthope 24th, Jules Gounon (Sodi) 26th. Ricky Collard (ART GP) moved back into second position behind Paskevicius by 1.5”. The fight took a lot as it slowed down a furious group of Petit 11th, Graham 12th, Webster 13th, Hubert 14th, Easthope 15th, Maestranzi 16th, …

Collard won a race that was actually not that exciting from Paskevicius, Tiihonen, Berglas, Blom, Barnicoat 6th, 7th Larsen, … Collard could have a very good position for the start of the final.
