Simas Juodvirsis (Energy / TM) made a good start for final 2 in KZ2, but missed his braking and went off backwards, on the back straight. Phillipp Orcic (CRG / TM) didn’t hesitate to take control of the race ahead of Martin Doubek (Praga / TM), Riccardo Negro (DR / TM) and Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG / Maxter). Bizalion and Weber retired on the third lap.
Orcic, with a slight gap, remained under the threat from Doubek who closed slightly. Lennox-Lamb took third before dropping to sixth position, letting Alfredo Delli Compagni (CRG / TM) and Alexandre Arrue (Righetti / TM) past. Orcic increased the pace to maintain the gap from Doubek. At halfway Orcic was 1.3” ahead of Doubek, Delli Compagni was almost 7.5” from Arrue with Lennox 6 tenths behind.
The positions didn’t change by the flag which saw victory for Canadian Philipp Orcic for his first race in KZ2, ahead of Martin Doubek and Alfredo Delli Compagni. Arrue finished fourth and Lennox-Lamb fifth.
