Russo first, Besancenez second

Guillermo Russo (FA Kart / Vortex) undeniably made the best start from the outside in the KF3 final while Aatu Moilannen lost a few lengths. Aubry, Alexandre Guiod and Lehouck didn’t pass the first corner. Amaury Bonduel (Kosmic / Parilla) moved into second position, but Paolo Beasncenez (Sodi / Parilla) undid the change, followed by Moilanen. Bonduel and half a dozen drivers piled up at the hairpin under the tower: Defourny, Aston, Cardinali, Becq, … among the victims.

Charles Machado (ART PM / TM) was fighting with Moilanen for third place, followed by Alexandre Gadois (FA Kart / Vortex), Dorian Guldenfels (Sodi / Parilla), Romain De Leval (Kosmic / Parilla) and Jules Bollier (Kosmic / Parilla). The differences quickly grew between the leaders: Russo and Besancenez was 2.5” to 3” in front of Gadois who had just taken third place. The peloton was agitated with a lot of passing. Machado took third place ahead of Guldenfels, Gadois, Matteo Raspatelli (Tony Kart / Parilla) and De Leval. Benjamin Lessennes (Sodi / Parilla) and Weckstrom were back to eighth and ninth positions, while Moilanen found himself in 23rd and last.

It was a great victory for the Spaniard Guillermo Russo in front of Paolo Besancenez. Then Raspatelli benefited from a clash at the last corner between Machado and Guldenfels to take the third step of the podium. Weckstrom finished 4th, Gadois 5th, Guldenfels 6th, Lessennes 7th, Elpitiya 8th, Bollier 9th and Korpivaara 10th. 21 of 42 drivers finished the race.
