Leclerc wins against Boutonnet

Great start for Charles Leclerc (Art GP / Parilla) in the KF2 final, a prelude to a superb three-way battle with Paul Boutonnet (Tony Kart / Parilla) and Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / Parilla). The peloton was distanced from them on the first lap. Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / TM) quickly took fourth, followed by Victor Compere (Kosmic / Vortex), Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Alex Hamilton (Intrepid / TM).

Boutonnet led the race before Leclerc returned to the lead on the seventh round. Compere overtook Belmaaziz who replied, over 6s from the leader but the positions changed each round. Agitation also reigned in the top three, led for a time by Fraïsse after halfway. Moineault overcame Belmaaziz and Compere for 4th place. Boutonnet again took the lead over Fraïsse and Leclerc.

At the beginning of the last lap, Compere was battling Belmaaziz. Leclerc watched his line to control Boutonnet who was faster and managed to win the race ahead of the  impressive rookie. Fraïsse pulled out all the stops to secure his third place. Belmaaziz took 4th and Deguffroy finished fifth from Moineault, Compere and Hamilton.
