Probably the most contested final of the 23rd Trofeo Andrea Margutti, the KF3 race included a fierce fight for the lead with Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB) in the lead at first, then Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex), but he was then attacked by Alex Palou (CRG / BMB). Delayed at the start, Lance Stroll (Zanardi / Parilla) gradually moved up from seventh, taking the fastest lap, to finish on Martin Kodric’s heels, who was probably worried. The recovery of Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex), who started 33rd and finished fifth, was superb.
Despite a good start to the race, Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM) couldn’t do better than eighth directly behind George Russell (Intrepid / TM), leaving Davide De Marco (Tony Kart / BMB) to seize sixth. Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla) was able to overcome his 29th place start in part to take 15th place, while Julien Darras (Intrepid / Parilla) was losing time in 24th and was involved in several difficult battles.
