Tiene takes hard fought win in KF2

Felice Tiene (CRG / BMB) faced the Russian Kirill Korolevskly (Tony Kart / BMB), ceding the lead for a few laps before normal service resumed and he crossed the finish line in the KF2 Prefinal as the winner with a 1.5” lead over Italy’s Alessio Costantini (Spirit / BMB), himself the winner of a long duel with Korolevskly. Sami Luka (FA / TM) was left hanging on to his fourth place while teammate Antonio Giovinazzi (Tony Kart / Vortex) was harshly sent off the track at the first corner.

Tom Joyner (LH / BMB) moved up from the 8th to 5th place, Marco Moretti (Kosmic / TM) from 14th to sixth, both getting the better of Charles Leclerc (ART GP / Parilla) giving his utmost in vain. Nicolas Gonzales (GP Racing / TM) fought well, taking 11th after trouble early in the race and overtaking impressively under braking.
