Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) took off impeccably when the lights went out in final two for KZ1, but Kozlinski (PCR / TM) would not let go and even took the lead in the next lap. Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) got the better of Mirko Torsellini (CRG / Maxter). There was a big rise early in the race for Paolo De Conto (Birel / BMB), to third and Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) to fifth. Conto attacked on lap 5 to pass Koko then Ardigo on the sixth for the lead. Kozlinski took the opportunity to regain second place from the Tony driver, now closely followed by Pex. Convers, Torsellini and Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) were not far away. In 8th, Patrik Hajek (Praga / TM) took Simo Puhakka (PCR / TM) and Rick Dreezen (Tony Kart / Vortex). Jonathan Thonon (CRG / Maxter) approached the top 10 and set the fastest lap.

At the halfway point Kozlinski took control, followed by Ardigo. Thonon was attacking, he was still the fastest on the track and was now 8th behind Fore. There was nothing between the top three, who were within 3/10, still in the order Kozlinski, Ardigo and De Conto. Thonon passed Fore before the last lap. There was a twist on the last lap: From De Conto attacked Ardigo brilliantly in the bottom of the circuit, passing on two wheels, and Pex tried his hand at the entrance of the Senna Esses, but it didnt work and not the two drivers remain on the sidelines.

At the end race that was a little crazy but exciting, Kozlinski won a superb victory over De Conto, Torsellini, Convers, Thonon, Fore, Dreezen, Hajek, …
