Lorandi triumphs in 60 Mini

Leonardi Lorandi (Tony Kart / LKE) won two heats and the pre-final in 60 Mini in front of Remigio Garofano (Top Kart / LKE) and Pietro Mazzola (Hero / Parilla), while Alex (Top Kart / LKE) lost the benefit of his second place at the start by retiring prematurely.

Lorandi started perfectly at the start of the final after three practice laps, before Nicola Abrusci and Garofano (Intrepid / Parilla) dropped to 13th. Andrei Vajda (Top Kart / LKE) soon settled in 3rd place ahead of James Pull (Top Kart / LKE), Devlin De Francesco (Top Kart / LKE) and Logan Sargeant (Tony Kart / LKE) who was the polesitter after qualifying, while Abrusci received a 10” penalty.

Lorandi won a landslide victory by more than 6 seconds ahead of Vajda and Pull who were in a fight to the finish line. Sargeant went back to fourth ahead of Mizevych Makar (Top Kart / LKE).
