KF3 prefinal B: Russell wins in front Nilsson

The first pre-final was held very successfully and there were no big surprises. For the pre B, George Russell (Intrepid / TM) and Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex) shared the front row ahead of  Felix Nilsson (Energy / TM). It was a great start especially from the Swede Robin Hansson (Tony Kart / Vortex) who took first place in the first round, but soon gave way to face Russell and Nilsson. Russell escaped, Nilsson consolidated his second place but was warned by a quartered flag. Hansson returned to the third placed Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex). Valentin Naud (Formula K / TM) came back to sixth before getting attacked from Connor Jupp (Energy / TM). Julien Darras (Intrepid / TM) fulfilled his mission by returning to the qualified positions, but has also been warned or penalized …

Hanson passed Corberi, followed by Simone Cunati (Top Kart / Parilla). Lance Stroll (Zanardi / Parilla) threatened the eighth placed Naud. The top 3, Russell, Nilsson and Corberi, noticeably got away. Stroll did the forcing, and was now sixth. It was a flawless victory for Russell, and a 2nd for Nilsson, awaiting a possible penalty. Corberi was third, Cunati fourth, Hanson fifth.
