Winter Cup: French surprise in KF3

Lonato is no longer blocked by snow! Sun shines on the Brescia region, at least on the Friday of the Winter Cup. 273 drivers took part in official qualifying in late morning, so the event is now started.

Arthur Lehouck (Sodi / Parilla) was a sensation in his first international race in KF3, coming directly from the Mini category. Already quick in free practice, he has simply been the fastest of the 104 drivers, leading Tony Kart driver Alessio Lorandi by 31/100. The KF3 hierarchy includes many little-known names in the top rankings, while some favorites are relegated to the back of the grid. The European champion George Russell (Intrepid / TM) is 6th, Julien Darras (Intrepid / Parilla), the second French driver in 12th, the beginner Lucas Marchi (ART GP / Parilla) in 16th, Connor Jupp (Energy / TM) 22nd, Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex) 27th at his own track, Felix Nilsson (Energy / TM) in 30th, then Gabi Aubry (Birel / TM), Dorian Guldenfels and Jeremy Demarque (Sodi / Parilla), then Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM) in 39th.
