Nothing has escaped from the Finn Teemu Suninen driving his new Intrepid / TM KF2 at the 15th Supernationals in Las Vegas. Qualifying, heats, final, he won everything, leaving his opponents to battle behind him. His 4.7” lead at the finish spoke volumes about his current level of performance …

The other leaders of the class have been both Formula K / TM drivers Dave Blom and Yannick De Brabander, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the intermediate classification, then Nicolas Maranzana (Kosmic / Vortex) and the Energy Corse drivers Sam Snell, Sami Luka, and Dennis Olsen.

Once Suninen took the lead from the start of the final, De Brabander took an advantage over his younger teammate who finished fourth after having to yield to Maranzana. Olsen, the fastest of the Energy boys, came back from 10th to fifth place ahead of Sami Luka and Matias Köykkä (PCR / TM). Suninen won, De Brabander second and Maranzana third was the final podium of the 2011 Supernats.
