If the first timed practice in KF1 at Sarno had a few surprises, the pole man wasn’t. Although unrecognizable in combination with his orange helmet, Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla) nevertheless set the fastest time with 1’04”754 in the last minute of the session. However Karol Basz (RK / BMB) was the leader for most of the session, only 4 / 100 second back, while Tony Kart had Ignazio D’Agosto in 3rd who set his time on his third lap.

Alexander Albon (Intrepid / TM) is in fourth place with a differential of 0.165s. Leo Roussel apparently was the best of the innovative Sodi on his sixth lap. 21 drivers are taking part in the fourth round of the KF1 World Championship with the absence of Loïc Réguillon (Sodi / Parilla) and Davey Koch (Gillard / Parilla).
