Formula K invited to the party

Heat A1

Victory for Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), while Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) quickly passed Bas Lammers (Intrepid / TM) for second place, Mirko Torsellini (CRG / Maxter) dropped back to 4th from Convers, Pex and Hajek.

Heat B1

It was a good battle between Paolo De Conto (Energy / TM) and Yannick De Brabander (Parolin / TM) at the beginning of Heat B1 and it was also heated among Beitske Visser (Intrepid / TM) and Arnaud Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter). Antonio Piccioni (Parolin / TM) then took control when De Conto stalled at the end of the race. Visser attacked yet on the last lap and crossed the line first. But she got a 10” penalty that put her back to 12th, as De Conto came home 15th. Piccioni was first ahead of De Brabander and Thonon.

Heat A2

Ardigo led the heat in the opening laps, but Torsellini took the lead mid-race after passing Fore. Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) was very fast, he held second, but defended himself from Ardigo to stay with Torsellini. Fore finished fourth from Lammers and Pex. Joel Johansson (Energy / TM) lost a lot at the start by being held up, he finished 12th from Gianni Gazzurelli (FA Kart / Vortex).

Heat B2

Domination was confirmed for the Parolin / TM team Formula K with a second double for Piccioni and De Brabander and were never threatened in the final heat. Thonon was third on the first lap, but Kozlinski then attacked him, followed by Iglesias and Dreezen. Behind the leading trio, there was the recovery of Visser and De Conto, who were disadvantaged in heat B1. Beitske finished fourth, sixth was Iglesias, then De Conto and Thonon.
