Albon still victorious

All eyes were on Nyck De Vries who experienced a series of problems at the starts for his Zanardi / Parilla. The weather was still beautiful at Zuera for the fourth race of the World Championship but the wind was violent. We monitored the performance of the French drivers Hubert Anthoine (Sodi / Parilla) and Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) in fourth and fifth positions.

D’Agosto took the lead on the first lap ahead of Kanamaru, Albon and Camponeschi. De Vries started, but went off at the first corner and was 19th. Leo Roussel had a great start.

Albon took command and it was hard fought behind him. D’Agosto, Camponeschi, Kanamaru, then Basz 5th, Groman and Deguffroy. Kanamaru attacked Basz. De Vries was 12th on lap 4. Hubert demoted Roussel to 15th.

D’Agosto had not admitted defeat to Albon, especially as Basz took third. Kanamaru passed him again, but Basz retaliated. Groman, in sixth, was much closer to Camponeschi. De Vries had passed Deguffroy for seventh. There were six laps remaining. De Vries took Kanamaru and was fourth.

The top 3 started the very last lap together. D’Agosto attacked Basz who retook him. De Vries took the opportunity to sneak third place on the line. It was the second British victory of the day for Alexander Albon from D’Agosto. De Vries was third, fourth was Basz and Kanamaru fifth.
