Sathienthirakul cool in the Prefinal

Tanart Sathienthirakul (Tony Kart / TM) and Sami Luka (Energy / TM) were on the front row of the prefinal in KF2 at Zuera while the wind raged on the Spanish track. It was a good start for the Thai at Kartronix, followed by Antonio Giovinazzi, Egor Orudshev, Carlos Gil and Sami Luka. On the second lap, Victor Sendin overtook two drivers at once and took sixth, in eighth Pascal Belmaaziz was undergoing some attacks and ended up 13th. Gil went to third from Orudshev who was in turn closely followed by Luka.

At the halfway point, the positions were stable at the front with significant differences now between the top 3. Luka came after Orudshev and Sendin and also took the opportunity to take fifth. The top 7 were now well separated. A group led by Spinelli and Rudakov were fighting, while Michelle Gatting watched closely. Belmaaziz returned to form in 12th place. Spinelli lost 2 places to the benefit of Gatting and Belmaaziz.

Last lap. Victory was assured for at Sathienthirakul from Giovinazzi, Gil, Sendin in fourth and Luka fifth voluntarily.
