The weather is beautiful at Ostricourt, the public began to gather in the paddock and on the banking despite the temptation to watch the Monaco GP on TV. Will Mich continue to dominate the category, or had Abbasse found something to compensate for his slight handicap in performance? Which outsiders will be able to join in the fight and reach the podium? All these questions show that the race will be exciting to follow.

Very unluckily, the Swiss driver Nicolas Rohrbasser stopped on the grass before the end of the practice lap. Thomas Mich (Birel / TM) started faultlessly ahead of Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / Maxter). Clement Da Silva (Birel / TM) put pressure on Abbasse and overtook on the second lap, and unfortunately Abbasse lost 4 places. Morgan Weber (Merlin / TM) assumed second position for a moment before Da Silva returned, followed by Charles Fiault (Sodi / Maxter) and Mathieu Gaillard (Energy / TM).

After a third of the race, Mich connected fastest lap on lap and already was more than 2 seconds ahead of Da Silva. Fiault was threatened by Gaillard. In 5th, Abbasse retired following a clutch problem on the 9th of 18 laps. Far behind Weber in 5th, a group provided some entertainment: Emilien Grosso (Intrepid / TM) beat Yuri Lucati (BRM / TM) and Benjamin Da Silva (Birel / TM). Fiault quietly overtook Gaillard and was in 3rd position.

Clement Da Silva was the fastest, but Thomas Mich won the race brilliantly in front of him. Charles Fiault climbed to the third step of the podium. Gaillard finished 4th, 5th was Weber, Grosso 6th. Note the strong performance of the British driver James Glenister (Kosmic / Vortex) in 8th position.
