Winning Return in KZ2 and Pole Position in KF2

Sodi Racing Team has begun to enjoy the fruits of heavy work done since the start of the season. Anthony Abbasse dominated KZ2 at the Angerville GPO and concluded the meeting on the top step of the podium on Sunday, while Anthoine Hubert showed all the speed of his ST32 by conquering the pole position in KF2.

Abbasse’s results could have even been better if his accelerator cable had not broken at the start of the first pre-final. Poleman in the time qualifying session, Anthony was always the fastest on the track. He got the situation back on track by climbing from 31st to 7th in the final race, and this was already quite a performance. But the following day, he displayed all his talent by leading his Sodi/Maxter twice to first place. He thus conquered 4 places in the French KZ2 Championship and concluded 4th with solid ambitions to conquer the title.

The Sodi boys equally made themselves noticed in KF2 and this time it was Anthoine Hubert who achieved the best score. Poleman in Saturday’s time qualifying, he concluded Sunday’s second final with a fourth place, one step away from the podium, with the third best time of the race less than 0.1 seconds from the leader.

«Our results in Angerville have confirmed that we have made the right choices», said Nicola De Cola, Sodi team principal. «Now that we have had a chance to work in race conditions, we can say that things are looking good before major European and world appointments of June. The team is serene and everything is working fine».
