Moineault flying in qualifying

The category was divided into 2 groups for qualifying and it’s Valentin Moineault (Sodi / Parilla) who was the fastest of group 1, followed by Fran Rueda (FA Kart / Vortex), Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla), Esteban Ocon (FA Kart / Vortex), Benjamin Gerard (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Max Defourny (CRG / Parilla).

In the other group, the Spaniard Alex Palou (FA Kart / Vortex) set the fastest time ahead of Dorian Boccolacci (Birel / BMB), Romain De Leval (Sodi / Parilla), Simon Tirman (Tony Kart / Vortex) and the Spaniard Guillermo Russo (FA Kart / Vortex). Charles Leclerc (Sodi / Parilla) finished sixth.

Cumulatively, Moineault retained pole ahead of Rueda, Palou, then Boccolacci and Besancenez.
