The final KF2 heat began with Nicolaj Moller-Madsen (Energy / TM) retiring, jostled by Brett Felkin (Intrepid / TM), which meant a very angry Danish driver … Joel Johansson (Energy / TM) took the lead ahead of Gustavo Menezes (Tony Kart / Vortex), Sami Luka (Energy / TM) and Philipp Orcic (Zanardi / Parilla). Andrick Zeen (Sodi / Parilla) crashed at the hairpin, definitely not his day.
The battle was intense and Menezes soon settled into first place, followed now by Felkin who didn’t take long to attack. Johansson also passed Menezes who was losing ground. Johansson returned to Felkin and now there were 3 laps to go, while Luka looked too open. But that Felkin didn’t lose any time took control on the last lap to cross the finish line as the winner ahead of Johansson, Luka, Menezes, Lloyd, Pagani and Pellegrini. Orcic not finish the race.
