Pole man on the grid, Matias Köykkä (Maranello) was overtaken at the start of the heat by Adam Stirling (Intrepid) but retook it before the end of the lap and Stefan Riener (Intrepid) that was second to Stirling, then Ville Mäntylä (Energy) and Julian Wagner (Mach 1) who came from 11th position. Niklas Nylund (Maranello) lost ground, Leo Roussel (Sodi) gradually fell in the standings.
Nylund pulled himself together and returned to 4th. The differences began to become important. The French driver Anthony Micoud (Intrepid) entered the top 10. Chiara Poletto (Parolin) was in 7th place and attacked Kasper Larsen (Haase) who seemed to be losing performance. He also had to surrender to Andrick Zeen (Sodi). At the front nothing changed, Köykkä was still a long way ahead of Riener, Stirling and Nylund.
Poletto was now now approaching Mäntylä, overtaking him and then aiming for Wagner. Nylund moved to attack Stirling to gain 3rd place. Suddenly on the last lap, Riener, in a solid second, stopped in the grass and retired, very disappointed.
Köykkä won the race perfectly, Nylund ended up 2nd, Stirling 3rd, Wagner 4th and Poletto 5th. Micoud had his best result with seventh place, ahead of the American Zeen.
