Koÿkkä imposes

International World Karting Championship

Matias Köykkä (Maranello) and John Norris (Intrepid) started at the front of the pack of competitors in heat A / E for the World Championship U18. Köykkä led over the Austrian Stefan Riener (Intrepid) from Adam Stirling (Intrepid) and John Norris (Intrepid) who just passed Alex Baron (Sodi). Norris took third position at the halfway point.

Köykkä led by more than a second and was the fastest. Edward Jones (Maranello), from Dubai, took Stirling’s 4th position and Norris recovered his 2nd place. Baron attacked and Stirling replied. Ovaska took the opportunity to get closer and then past Baron. Köykkä won the race ahead of Riener, Norris and Jones.
