The Monegasque Charles Leclerc opened the scoring in the Academy Trophy, soon echoed by Spanish driver German Villanueva. Anthoine Hubert (France) was in the second position ahead of the Finn Niklas Tiihonen. Severin Amweg (Switzerland) joined the top of the table, now led by Tiihonen, Hubert replied before the lights. Amweg was the first to go below 56”. Tiihonen took pole on the wire with a time of 55”938 before Amweg and Hubert. Villanueva 4th and Leclerc 5th.
