Villemi, the fastest of the Academicians

International World Karting Championship

The young competitors in the Academy trophy, aged 13-15, have lived up to their task by setting faster times than most of the U18s despite less powerful equipment.
Thus, the polesitter Hans Villemi set the second best time if the morning, 2/100 off Suninen. While the track had improved, the other U18s could not compete with Villemi. Charles Leclerc (MC) responded brilliantly with the 2nd fastest time, ahead of Roy Johnson (GB) and Anthoine Hubert (FR). In 5th was the Brazilian Fraga, while Filippos Kalesis (GR) and Niklas Tiihonen (FI) stayed within reach.
