Anthony Lepesqueux (Tony Kart) took control of the decisive final for the victory of the first Rotax Max Cup in France ahead of Laurent Miskiewicz (Mirage) and Jules Afonso (Tony Kart). With Nicolas Gonzales (Mirage) in fourth, there were already four protagonists for the race. In 6th Kevin Minier (Tony Kart) spun and visited the gravel trap. Christophe Duport (Intrepid), Giovanni Ucci (Kosmic), Jason Montiel (Sodi), Zanello Angelo (PCR), … were part of a very lively bunch.
Lepesqueux and Miskiewiecz seemed to be able to hold off Afonso, while Gonzales returned to the trio, suddenly faster. Before mid-race they closed up again and the four drivers were close for the remainder of the race without being able to really attack. Montiel was in 5th place by taking Ucci, Duport peaked at seventh ahead of Thomas Ricci, Charles Magnin and Zanello.
The fate was decided on the last lap when the yellow flags disappeared and allowed Miskiewicz to attempt an outbraking at the cafeteria. Surprised, Afonso replied in a haphazard manner, Miskiewicz returned and crossed the line two hundredths ahead of Afonso, Lepesqueux 3rd, Gonzales 4th and Ucci 5th.
