A Monegasque Driver Joins SODI

Sodi Racing Team is pleased to welcome to the team young driver Charles LECLERC (from Monaco) in the KF3 category.

French Champion “Cadet” in 2009 and winner of the Bridgestone Cup, already on a SODI chassis, Charles will be part of the Team starting from next GPO meeting, to be held this weekend in Angerville.
With a programme that includes the French Championship (GPO), the World Cup and the Monaco Kart Cup, in the SRT Charles will join his «friend» and experienced driver Pierre Gasly, with the ambition to reach the same level of performance of top drivers and prepare at best for season 2011.

Nicola De Cola (team principal) commented: «Charles LECLERC’s arrival to our team is an excellent thing. We are preparing Pierre Gasly’s succession in KF3 with a young driver who has already won the title of French Champion with one of our chassis. He is a calm driver and our first contacts have been very interesting, because Charles is very mature for his age».
