Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex) made the best start, but this time Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla) remains in his wheeltracks and was very incisive. The first accident was a collision which greatly delayed Remy Deguffroy and a host of competitors drove over each other, like a sculpture of the late Caesar.
Behind the first two, Hubert and Gasly, it was heated between Enzo Marchetti (Sodi / Parilla), Leo Roussel (Sodi / Parilla) and Hubert Petit (FA Kart / Vortex). Pierre Mantione and Louis Loubet started to come back. Gasly was threatening to Hubert as there was little more than a tenth of a second separating them. Roussel and Marchetti were closely matched, with an advantage for Roussel before mid-race. Loubet went in to 6th in front of Simon Tirman and Amaury Rossero. Deguffroy was 15th.
Hubert took a very slight lead, Gasly was preparing his attack for the end of the race? The battle continued between Marchetti and Roussel, while Petit stayed in ambush. L11: Hubert Gasly passed at the entrance of a bend. The duel suddenly increased in intensity: the two drivers passed and repassed. Hubert retained first place for three laps. Petit took 4th place.
Last Lap: Gasly started it in the lead, Hubert replied manfully, perhaps too much so, and pushed Gasly on the grass while the tires were smoking … Anthoine won on the track … Gasly second, third Roussel, before Petit and Marchetti.
Hubert is penalized of 3 positions and Gasly is declared winner, Roussel 2nd and Petit 3rd.
