GPO Varennes Saturday: Abbasse on pole in KZ2

Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) marks his territory in the first timed practice session for the first GPO of 2010 at Varennes-sur-Allier. Linking fastest lap on fastest lap, the leader of the official Sodi Racing Team finished the session with a pole time of 51,739. Jérémy Iglesias (Intrepid / TM) tried everything to counter it, but had to settle for the second fastest time.

Ranked only 15th for the day of free practice on Friday, Mirage / TM driver Figheira James exploded into life, third in front of Simone Brenna (TBKart / TM) and Yan Pesce (Energy / TM). Behind that was Yannick Savard (CRG / Maxter), and Pierre Etienne Chaumat (Intrepid / TM) set the eighth fastest time in front of Mathias Gallepe (Sodi / Maxter) and Mathieu Gaillard (Energy / Maxter).
