Cooper wins the first heat

The pressure built for the 1st heat for Super KF. Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla) had problems: he was “gently” pushed out of the way back to below 15th place … Starting 6th Zdenek Groman (Maranello / Parilla) was ahead of Ben Cooper (Kosmic / Vortex), Sauro Cesetti (Birel / BMB), Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), Simo Puhakka ( PCR / TM) and Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter).

After some excitement Cesetti found himself strangely in the grass. Ardigo was in 3rd, Tiene 4th. De Vries embarked on his recovery, as well as Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter). Cooper took the lead on lap 5, Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex) took Camponeschi for 4th, in 6th, Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) led Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) and Libor Toman ( Birel / BMB).

De Vries soon passed Toman, then Fore on the next lap: he was 7th. Toman attacked Fore who returned two laps later, Camponeschi passed Convers, but not Catt.

Victory went to Ben Cooper ahead of Groman and Ardigo. Catt finished 4th, 5th Convers, De Vries 7th and 12th Koko. The Kosmics are in great shape, with a performance advantage for Convers, and the Tony Karts not far behind. De Vries was much faster andshould be in first place, Koko has the means to recover and Cesetti can put on a show.
