SodiKart adds The Racelab to it’s Dealer Lineup

After a convincing win at the second round of the WSK Euro Series in Lonato, Italy Sodi Kart has scored another victory this time in finalizing an agreement with one of Western Canada’s most prominent racing teams and dealers, The RaceLab.

The RaceLab is run by Steve Rickman who has 19 years of experience in the karting game and together with his family ran one of Canada’s most successful karting ventures Genesis Racing which closed its doors late in 2009. The RaceLab will run an official driver this year in the Western Canadian Rotax Championship, which is the largest racing series crossing through B.C, Alberta, and Sasksatchewan. The deal recently came about through negotiations with Sodi Kart official USA Racing Team and North American Racing Kart distributor, G Phactory of Huntington Beach California who are feverishly working on spreading the brands presence across the continent.

” I’m happy to be working with G Phactory on developing the Sodi name across North American and doing my part by bringing it north of the border, being the largest karting factory in the world with a very eager attitude pretty much makes anything we want to achieve as far as development goes possible” commented Rickman from the RaceLab head office in Burnaby B.C Canada about this new arrangement.

“We are very pleased to welcome The Race Lab to the Sodi Family” stated Preston Newberry, General Manager of G-Phactory and SRT AMERICA. “The Race Lab is a very professional operation and really encompasses the philosophy of the Sodi brand.” The Race lab and G Phactory will team up to support customers at races all across North America with a major focus on ProKart Challenge, SKUSA ProTour, Rotax PanAM , Western Canadian Rotax Challenge, West Coast Kart Club (B.C) and various events across the Western USA.

The Racelab team have kicked off this season with some very successful results with their 2010 official team driver Kris Hoffbeck who has already begun posting strong results after a strong 09’ season that saw him qualify for the Rok Cup International Finals where he ran in the top 10 for most of the event showing his strength and adaptability. Hoffbeck will begin his testing immediately aboard the new ST32 Chassis of which he will compete aboard this season on the Canadian national scene.
